Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the State of Georgia in General Assembly met, and is hereby enacted by the authority of the same, That Elisha Askew, Jacob Ducket, Andrew Dorsey, David McCallum and Clemands Quillian, and their successors in office be, and they are hereby declared to be a body corporate, by name and styles of the trustees of the Mossy Creek Methodist Camp Meeting Ground, in the county of Habersham, and they are hereby declared capable of suing and being sued, and of using any and all legal means for defending any property which said trustees may hold, claim or demand. And be it further enacted, That when any vacancy or vacancies may occur in the board of trustees aforesaid, by death, resignation or otherwise, such vacancy or vacancies may be filled by a majority of trustees. And be it further enacted, That the said trustees or successors in office, shall not be able to purchase any property or own in virtue of this act, except the property of the Camp meeting ground, and the property thereunto belonging to aforesaid, but to have full power to defend the same; any law, or usage to the contrary notwithstanding.
