COMMISSIONER

  The last Board of Commissioners of Roads and Revenue to serve in Whitfield
county was composed of:
   
J. A. Thomason 
Troy G. Kirk
Sam H. Wilson 
Grover C. Stafford

   Under legislative enactment, the Board of Roads and Revenue was abolished and
the affairs of the county were placed in charge of a sole commissioner for which
place Harlan J. Wood was duly elected and qualified. He entered upon his service
as commissioner January 1, 1933.
