THE ATLANTA CONSTITUTION 
Mr. G. W. Sapp, of Dalton, Ga., while walking up Whitehall street today, felt a 
severe pain in his left shoulder, and the pain being so severe, he walked into 
the clothing store of Patterson & Co., and asked Mr. Patterson to please 
examine and see what was the cause of his pain. Mr. Patterson soon discovered 
something sharp and after cutting open the skin, found a number 8 sewing needle 
bedded entirely in the flesh. Mr. Sapp says he has no idea when the needle made 
the entrance into his body, or where it entered. We were shown the needle by 
Mr. Sapp
