James Anderson's will. wife Ann, children: John , Martha A. and Sarah...Isaac , Margaret, Mary, and JOhn (some of these to receive part of an estate which had passed from deceased William Anderson of Baldwin Co, Georgia down to his son, now deceased, James Anderson). p 26/27. Dec 1855 will of Hugh Burk, probated Jan 1856. This was a 'fact filled' 2 pages but it had faded so bad, will not recopy. Fortunately I could read it while on the microfilm viewer. I typed a complete transcript of it, if anyone wants, let me know. March 18, 1885 p 232. Margaret Smith to her 3 nieces: O.(?) J. Head, M. M. Head, N. S. Head. Feb 3, 1887 wit: George W. Phillips, A. F. Williams, G. M. (?Y. M.) Easley, recorded Feb 6, 1888 p 254. Benjamin F. Smith's will. wife Elizabeth, son *Jefferson D. Smith, dtr Francis C. or O. Cline. 11 May 1889, wit: John Hill and W. C. Griffin, M. D. * not same as my Jefferson D. Smith son of Rachel Burk (and Prior A. Smith), grandson of Hugh Burk. My Jeff born ca 1861, died 1941 Texas. (That name was almost as common as John Doe)
