Parallel-Column Edition

The New Testament of Our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ
Translated out of the Greek; being the Version Set Fort
A.D. 1611. Arranged in Parallel Columns with The Revised
Version of A.D. 1881. Together with the Readins and
Renderings preferred by the American Revisers. Text
Comformable to that of the Universities of Oxford and
Cambridge.

This Certifies that Nathaniel Teagle and Miss Syntha E.
Hannah were united by me in the Holy Bonds of Matrimony
at Amos Headaway, on the Eighth day of December in the
year of our Lord 1867. In the Presence of R.A. Teagle and
M___rett Cheek. Signed: Amos Hadaway, Minister of the
Gospel.

Nathaniel Teagle and Miss Syntha Elizabeth Hannah were married on Sunday, the eighth (8th) day of December 1867.

S.E. Teagle was born A.D. January 11th 1850.
M.F.M.J. Teagle was born A.D. March 13th 1870.
William Thomas Teagle was born A.D. December 25th 1872.
Tellua Orvalie Teagle was born A.D. October 13th 1875.
Isaac Sanford Teagle was born A.D. July 4th 1878.
Myrtis Elizabeth Teagle was born A.D. September 24th 1880.
John Silvy Teagle was born A.D. September 23rd 1882.
Annie May Burton Teagle was born A.D. March 26th 1885.
Ethel Estell Teagle was born A.D. May 29th 1888.
Nathaniel Teagle was born A.D. January 10th 1891

Note from Elaine Turk: 
Nathaniel Lee Teagle, Sr. was my great-great grandfather.
He was born in Gwinnett County, Georgia and died in
Pitts, Wilcox County, Georgia where he had moved with his
family in the early 1900s to farm. My father made a copy
of this family Bible and had it certified in 1967. I made
this transcription from that copy. Unfortunately, I do
not know who has possession of the Bible at this time
(January 11, 2001).
