Recovered Her Sight At 116

Old Aunt Annie Player, a colored woman, lives in Wilcox County, in this State
and has attained the extraordinary age of 116 years.  She was the slave of R.N.
Player.  She was blind at the age of 110 years, but at the age of 116 she
recovered her eyesight.  Mr. Z.T. Player informed the editor of the Dispatch a
few days ago that old “Aunt Annie” was still holding on to life with all the
tenacity of one of her race.  There are more old people in Wilcox County than in
any county of equal population in Georgia.
