In 1929 a new church building was begun, and the building committee included Mr. T. J. Pendergrass, Mr. H. H. Braziel with Mr. A. C. Shell Sr., as chairman and building director. During the year of 1930, the brick building was completed with auditorium, Sunday School rooms and choir loft. Since that time, there has been a recreation room and kitchen combination added. The Sunday School has been active since organization of the church in 1903. Former superintendents include Mr. G. W. Mixon, Mr. J. H. Harris, Mr. W. M. Gunter and Mr. W. L. C. Gunter.
