Mr. A. T. Daniels Claimed by Death
     Mr. A. T. Daniel, 81, died in the Hawkinsville Hospital Friday night of 
last week, following an illness of about five weeks.  he would have been 81 in 
May.  He was well known and loved by all who knew him.
     He leaves one brother, Mr. James Daniel, of Abbeville and a host of 
nieces and nephews.
     The funeral was conducted by Rev. E. L. Higdon, pastor of the Church of 
God, Cordele, assisted by Rev. Dewey Holloway, of Abbeville in the Dorsey 
Funeral Home Chapel.  Burial was in the family lot at the Mitchell cemetery.
     Pall bearers were six nephews:  Otis Daniel, Odell Daniel, Loran Adams, 
Jack Adams, Ernest Johnson and Clarence Johnson.
     Honorary pall bearers were N. M. Conner, Wright Mixon, L. W. Conner, L. 
G. Cordin, T. C. Mann and Ambrose Nasworth.
     Several songs were rendered with Mrs. C. C. Fulghum at the piano.
     Among the out of town friends and relatives who attended were T. D. 
Mitchell and wife, Homverville, Mrs. J. B. Pate, of Amboy, Mr. and Mrs. Henry 
Wilson, of Pineview, Mr. Jack Adams and family, of Fitzgerald, Mr. and Mrs. F. 
B. Martin and family, of West Palm Beach; Mr. and Mrs. W. F. Johnson and 
family, of Macon, Mrs. Ruby Cain, of West Palm Beach, Mr. and Mrs. Frank 
Sayers, of Ft. Lauderdale; Mr. and Mrs. Matt Wilson, of Ashburn, Mrs. Hungate, 
of Fitzgerald, Mr. and Mrs. Walter Greer, of Fitzgerald, Mr. and Mrs. A. O. 
Daniel, of Cordele, Miss Margaret Daniel, of Cordele, Mr. and Mrs. R. L. 
Lovett, of Fitzgerald.

Card of Thanks
     We wishe to thank our many friends and neighbors for their kindness and 
words of consolation, during the illness and death of our brother and uncle, 
Mr. A. T. Daniel.
     We also want to thank them for the beautiful floral offering.  May God, 
in His inifinite goodness, bless and reward each of you.
