DEATH OF JOHN DENNARD
   It is with regret that we are called upon to chronicle the death of such a 
man as John Dennard, who was born in Twiggs County, Ga., November 10, 1814, 
and was married to Martha Denson at or near Richland Baptist Church, in the 
same county, in 1841.  He moved to Houston County in 1845 and from Houston to 
Pulaski in 1853, where he has sine lived on the same farm and raised a family 
of seven children. All of whom are married- five boys and two girls.  He died 
after a short painful illness of inflammatory rheumatism December 27, 1887.


Additional Comments:
Some say he died on the 24th Decemeber 1887 in Wilcox County.  He is buried in 
the Dennard Cemetery on his home place.  The Cemetery is kept up by the family.
