I. Futch It is with sadness that we are called upon to chronicle the death of Mrs. William I. Futch, which occurred at her home near Rochelle at 10 o'clock of the morning of the 11th inst. Mrs. Futch had been sick for about one month with that dreaded disease, typhoid fever. Mrs. Futch was a consistent member of the Cedar Creek Baptist church, and was a consecrated christian lady. She was about 42 years of age. She leaves a devoted husband and seven children--two sons and five daughters, to mourn her sad departure. Her remains were interred at Liberty Hill church Friday afternoon in the presence of a large concourse of relatives and friends. Rev. S. B. Cole, of Rochelle Baptist church, conducted the funeral services. The New Era extends heartfelt sympathy to the bereaved husband and children in their sad bereavement. --Rochelle New Era.
