A. Hearn Mrs. J. A. Hearn died at her home in the Liberty Hill community Sunday afternoon. She had been in declining health for three years. She was 57 years old. She was a member of Cedar Creek church. She was well known having been born in Wilcox county, and had lived in it all her life. She leaves her husband and five sons: Paul Hearn of Atlanta, Albert Hearn, of Miami, Johnie Hearn, of Greenwood, Miss., Elton Hearn, of Camp Craft, S.C., and Hansel Hearn of Abbeville; four daughters, Mrs. C. W. Hitchcock of Valdosta, Mrs. C. O. Good, of West Palm Beach, Mrs. O. B. Adams, of Doerun, and mrs. C. W. Bailey of Abbeville; three brothers, J. P. Futch and T. A. Futch, of Rochelle, and R. C. Futch, of Abbeville; three sisters, Mrs. W. H. Huchinson, of Tifton, Mrs. J. C. Cook, of West Palm Beach and mrs. L. R. Bruce, of Abbeville; and one step-sister, Mrs. A. W. Coble, of West Palm Beach, and her mother, Mrs. W. I. Futch, of Abbeville, and several grandchildren. Funeral was conducted at Cedar Creek church Tuesday afternoon, by Rev. B. F. Rainey, a former pastor. Pall bearers were: W. C. Sapp, N. M. Cohen, W. H. Hutchinson, R. C. Futch, Lonnie Bruce and Wilbur Conner. Honorary pall bearers were: N. M. Conner, L. W. Conner, W. C. Cook, N. A. Statham, P. E. Doster and J. E. Everett. The body was laid to rest in the churchyard at Cedar Creek. Dorsey Funeral Home in charge.
