CHARLES T. KING Mr. Charles T. King, died at the home of his mother in Rochelle, Monday and was buried Tuesday in the cemetery at that place. Funeral services were held in the Masonic lodge, several Masons from Abbeville attending. Of his immediate family Mr. King leaves his wife, who was Mis Gussie Hamilton before her marriage, one child , his mother, Mrs. C. C. King, one brother, John N. King, and two sisters, Mrs. Ida Brown, of Rochelle, and Mrs. Josephine Tarver, of Hawkinsville, besides a host of other relatives and friends to mourn his death. KING News was received here yesterday of the death of Mr. Charles T. King, which occured Monday afternoon at 1:15 o'clock after an illness lasting several months. Mr. King was born and reared in this county and was the son of the late Thomas King, one of Pulaski best known farmers. He lived on his father's farm six miles below Hawkinsville until about twenty-one years old and then left for Florida, where he had since resided with the exception of a short time in this county and at Rochelle. Until his health failed several months ago he was engaged in the banking business., being cashier of the Bank of Cresent City, Fla., and under whose management it was doing a splendid business. He possessed many admirable qualities and had a bright future before him. He was a splendid business man and a member of the Masonic fraternity in which he always took a very active interest, and stood very high. He has scores of friends in Georgia and Florida who will be grieved to learn of his death as he was very popular among all classes and numbered his friends and acquaintances. He is survived by his wife and one little son, his mother, Mrs. C. C. KIng. one brother, Mr. J. N. King, of Roichelle, and two sisters, Mrs. Ida Brown, of Rochelle, and Mrs. Josephus Tarver, of this city, besides other relatives. The remains will be interred in the cemetery at Rochelle this (Tuesday) afternoon.
