             Mr. Dave Lamb
   Mr. Dave Lamb, 84 years, died at his home four miles West of Abbeville 
Monday afternoon and was buried Tuesday at the Mitchell Cemetery, Rev W. A. 
Mallory conducting the funeral service.

Compiler Notes:  David “Dave” Crockett Lamb was born May 1834 near 
Andersonville., Sumter County., Georgia and died at home on the 12 Aug 1918.  
He was married to Sarah Sallie Andrews Rouse in 1868 at Sumter County., 
Georgia.  She was born Sep 1835 in Sumter County., Georgia and died Nov 1916 
in Wilcox County.,Georgia.  She is also buried at the Mitchell Cemetery in a 
unmarked grave. I searched for an obituary in the Wilcox Newspapers and found 
none.
   David Crockett Lamb’s father Miles Brady Lamb is buried at the Council 
Family Cemetery (Solomon)., Americus., Sumter County., Georgia.  I found no 
listing for a wife there at the cemetery. He has been link to his son at 
Morningside Cemetery in Rochelle., Wilcox County., Georgia.
