Griffin, a resident of Abbeville, Ga., but who was reared in Eastman, was run over here last night by the north bound passenger train, both legs being severed just below the knees. He died from the shock at 8:50 this morning. Mr. Griffin had driven through the country and was on his way to Macon. He attempted to board the train while it was in motion and was thrown under the moving car. Mr. Griffin leaves a sister, Mrs. J.B. Girardeau, of Abbeville, and a brother, Mr. C.W.
