Death of Johnnie Lowe

On Wednesday morning last, Johnnie Lowe, son of Rev. J.T. Lowe, pastor of the 
Methodist church at this place, breathed his last, after an illness of only a 
few days with fever.  He was about 14 years of age, and was one of our best 
boys.  His remains were carried to Lumpkin, Ga. for interment, and were 
accompanied by his parents and several friends.

The New Era extends deepest sympathy to the bereaved parents in this their 
bereavement. – Rochelle New Era

Mr. Lowe was pastor of Butler Circuit for three years and has many friends here 
who will regret to learn of the death of his son.
