Mrs. J. R. Roe
     Mrs. Roe, wife of Mr. J. R. Roe, died at their home near Fitzgerald 
rather suddenly Sunday morning, after suffering from chills for several days.  
The remains were brought to Abbeville Monday morning and in afternoon 
interment was at the Mitchel burial ground near the city.
     This family only moved from Wilcox county this year and to learn of the 
death of Mrs. Roe will be a shock to her many friends.

Additional Comments:
Martha Matilda (King) Rowe was born in December 1873.  She married 
Josiah "Joe" R. Rowe on 8 October 1885 in Wilcox Co., GA.
