MRS. FRANCES OLDS

     CORDELE, Sept. 28 - Funeral services for Mrs. Frances Elizabeth Olds, 78, 
who ided [sic; died] at her home at Pitts yesterday, were held today at Pitts 
Methodist church.
     The Rev. J. N. Crosby and the Rev. J. A. Thornton officiated.
     Besides her husband, L. W. Olds, she is survived by two daughters, Mrs. 
J. W. Jones, of Americus, and Mrs. G. T. Wilson, of Logansville; three sons, 
P. E. Olds, of Cordele; E. E. Olds and L. D. Olds of Abbeville; three sisters, 
Mrs. Lafayette Humphries, Mrs. Billie Campbell and Miss Caroline Clowers, of 
Gwinnett county.
     Interment was in Pitts cemetery.

Additional Comments:
Frances Elizabeth Clower was born on 10 December 1859 in Gwinnett Co., GA, the 
daughter of John Wesley Clower and Sarah Melvina (Martin) Clower.  She married 
Lucious Willie Olds on 17 October 1875 in Gwinnett Co., GA.  They moved to 
Wilcox Co., GA about 1903.
