This file was contributed by: Barbara Walker Winge Barbarawinge@yahoo.com ================================================================= File contributed for use in USGenWeb Archives by Barbara Walker Winge barbarawinge@yahoo.com This Indenture made the Eighteenth day of November In the Year of our Lord one thousand Seven Hundred and Eighty Eight Between Benjamin Allen and Mary Allen his wife of the County of Wilkes and State of Georgia on the one part and Benjamin Blake of the County of Wilkes and State aforesaid on the other part Witnesseth that the said Benjamin Allen and Mary Allen his wife for an in consideration of the Sum of one Thousand and fifty pounds sterling the Receipt where of the said Benjamin Allen and Mary Allen his Wife do hereby acknowledge have Granted Bargained Sold also enforce Release and confirmed and by these presents do grant Bargain Sell also enforced Release and confirm unto the Said Benjamin Blake his Heirs and Assigns forever a Certain tract or parcel of land containing Four Hundred acres Situate lying and being in the County of Wilkes on the dry fork Long Creek having such Shape form and marks as appears by a plot of the same annexed to a grant to the said Benjamin Allen for said Land Signed by his Honor the Governor in Council the Twenty fifth of March one Thousand seven hundred and Eighty Seven Together with all and Singular the Rights Members and appurtenant thereof whatsoever to the said Tract or parcel of land belonging or in any wise appertaining a also all the Estate Right title interest claim demand of them or any other person or persons the said Benjamin Allen and Mary Allen his wife unto or out of the same to have and to hold the Said Tract or parcel of Land and all Singular the foresaid affixed with their and every of their Rights Members and appurtenances unto the said Benjamin Blake His heirs and assigns to his and their own personal use and behoof forever in Fee simple In witness whereof the said Benjamin Allen and Mary Allen his Wife have here unto set their hand and affixed their Seals this Day and date first above written.
