This deed made this the twelfth day of February Eighteen hundred and Eighty 
six by and between Martha Andrews of said state and county of the one part and 
Right Rev William H. Gross Roman Catholic Bishop of Savannah, County of 
Chatham of the other part doth Witness that said Martha Andrews heretofore on 
(29th) Twenty ninth day of December in the year (1875) Eighteen hundred and 
seventy five Entered into a Bond for Titles with John Fleming of the county of 
Chatham aforesaid upon the performance of certain donations therein named to 
make him Titles to that Tract of Land hereinafter described that said Fleming 
afterwards on the Eleventh day of January (1876) Eighteen hundred and seventy 
six by written deed attached and delivered for value received transferred said 
Bond for Titles to Wm H Gross Bishop aforesaid that in due course of time and 
in accordance with the terms of said Bond the conditions of said Bond were 
duly complied with therefore in consideration that said WH Gross Bishop 
aforesaid has duly and legally paid said Martha Andrews the full purchase 
money and interest on it and complied with the conditions of said Bond paid 
Martha Andrews has bargained granted sold & conveyed and doth by these 
presents bargain grant sell & convey to said Right Rev Wm H Gross Roman 
Catholic Bishop of Savannah and to his successors in office all that Tract of 
Land and Improvements thereon fully set forth in said Bond for Titles which is 
received in the office of the clrk of the superior court in Book No. 58 folio 
202-205 seventh February Eighteen hundred seventy six the same Tract of Land & 
Improvements the set apart by metes & bounds by commissioners to divide the 
Estate of Nicholas Nylie dec [deceased] recorded in the minutes of the court 
of ordinary of Wilkes County Georgia containing sixty five acres thirty seven 
rods more or less in said state & county & town of Washington Georgia with 
certain reservations set forth in said Bond for titles as to buying ground and 
right of ingress & egress thereto & forever To have & to hold the same in fee 
simple, and said Martha Andrews the same said tract of land and improvements 
thereon   she will & does hereby warrant and defend unto said Wm H Gross 
Bishop aforesaid and to his successors in office in fee simple against the 
claims of himself and all other persons
