Wilkes Co, GA WILKES COUNTY, GEORGIA, DEED BOOK NNN, p. 181 This indenture made this 15th day of November, 183_, between William Baird of the State and County aforesaid of the one part and George S. Oglesby of the same County on the other part. Witnesseth that the said William Baird has this day, for and in consideration of the sum of three hundred and sixty-two dollars and fifty cents to him in hand paid by the said George S. Oglesby, the receipt whereof is hereby acknowledged, bargained, sold and granted and doth, by these presents, bargain, sell and grant unto the said George S. Oglesby, his heirs and assigns, all that lot or parcel of land lying and being in the County and State aforesaid on the waters of Pistol Creek on the north side of the Greensboro Road beginning at said road near post oak corner running thence to said corner; thence, N30W, 21 chains, 10 links to a stake corner; thence, S85W, 62 chains to a stake formerly a black oak corner; thence, S8E, 42 chains to a post oak corner; thence, S37E, to the Greensboro Road; thence, down said road to the beginning corner, the said tract or parcel of land containing two hundred and twenty-five acres, more or less. To have and to hold the said bargained premises together with all the and singular the appurtenances thereunto belonging. And the said William Baird, for himself, his heirs, executors, administrators and assigns, the said tract or parcel of land, together with all its rights, members and appurtenances, will warrant and forever defend against the claim or claims of all persons whatsoever unto the said George S.
