1782 Oct 31 - Henry Co, Va - Deed Bk 3:127-128

Joseph Cook executor of John Cook, deceased, late of the state of North 
Carolina to Daniel Richardson of Henry County, Virginia conveys for sum 
of 825 pounds for 590 acres on Snow Creek and the Crabtree Fork being 
part of the land he bought of Hugh Innes. This said tract Daniel 
Richardson had bargained for some years past with the said John Cook and 
his bond to make him a right to the same has been in possession of the 
land ever since. 

Beginning on Snow Creek above the Mill, to a line which divides and lays 
off that part of a tract which John Cook gave to his son Benjamin Cook.
