Deed Book ZZ, p. 19 – 20

   This Indenture made this twenty fifth first day of December Eighteen
hundred ten between Benjamin Fry of the County of Wilkes of the one
part and William McLaughtin of the County of Oglethorpe of the other 
part  Witnesseth that the said B. Fry for and in Consideration of the Sum 
of nine hundred to him in hand paid by the Said William McLaughtin the
receipt whereof is hereby acknowledged have bargained and sold and by 
these presents do bargain and Sell unto the said William McLaughtin his 
heirs and assigns a certain tract of Land in Wilkes County Containing two 
hundred acres be the Same more or less lying on the waters of long Creek 
Beginning on a R. oak Corner at the gap of the mountain thence on East 
Corner to reeves Line thence S. on Reeves line to a R. oak Corner thence 
on Milners line to a R. oak Corner on the big Road then Crosing the Said 
Road to the head of a branch leading to Mr. Reeves thence on said Reeves 
line to the beginning Corner  To have and to hold, the said tract of Land and 
premises with the apperternances and every part thereof I do warrant and 
defend the Same to the Said McLaughtin his heirs and assigns forever in fee 
Simple  In Witness whereof the said B. Fry have hereunto set his [hand] and 
seal this day and year above written} Signed Sealed and delivered in the 
presents of

Georgia                 }  Personally Came and ________ John Moore of
Wilkes County      }  this County who being duly Sworn maketh oath 
and saith that he is a Subscribing witness to the within written Deed, 
and that he saw the within named Benjamin Fry Duly sign, seal and
deliver the same as his act _____ _____ and as such to be recorded 
and also Saw Pitt Milner and William Brooks subscribe their names 
as Witnesses thereto.
