State of Georgia
          This Indenture made the twenty fifth day of August in the Year of our 
Lord eighteen hundred Seven Between Larkin Barten of the one part William 
Leverett of the other part both of the County of Wilkes and State aforesaid 
Witnesseth the said William Leverett for and in Consideration of the sum of 
five Hundred Dollars Lawful money of said State to him in hand well and truly 
paid by the said William Leverett at or before the Sealing and delivery of 
these presents the Receipt of is hereby acknowledged hath bargained granted 
Sold released and Confirmed and by these presents doth grant bargain Sell 
release and confirm unto the said William Leverett his Heirs and Assigns all 
That Tract or parcel of land Containing two hundred two and one half acres more 
or less Situate lying and being on Waters of Little River in the Second 
district of Baldwin County in the Said State and butting and bounding North 
East by Lott No. 138 North West by Lott. No. 125. South West by Lott. No. 110. 
and South East by Lott. No. 123. which Said tract or lott of land is Known and 
distinguished in the plan of the Said District by the number one Hundred and 
twenty four Together with all and Singular the Rights members and appurtenances 
thereof whatsoever to the said tract or parcel of land lying being Belonging or 
in any wise appertaining All the remainders Reversions Rents Issues and profits 
thereof and of every part to have and to hold the said tract or parcel of Land 
and all and singular the premises and appurtenances thereunto belonging as 
aforesaid every part thereof unto the said William Leverett his Heirs and 
assigns to the only proper use benefit and behoof of the said William Leveritt 
and his Heirs and assigns him the said Larkin Barton and heirs and all and 
every other person or persons whatsoever Shall and will Warrant and forever 
defend by these presents In Witness whereof the said Larkin Barton hath 
hereunto set his Hand and Seal the day and Year first above written

Wilkes County   }   Samuel Paschal one of the Subscribing witnesses to the 
foregoing Deed came before me and made oath that he Saw the said Larkin Barton 
Sign and Acknowledged the afore mentioned Deed of Conveyance and that 
Williamson Switzer the other Subscribing Witness with himself did Subscribe as 
Witnesses to the Same –
