All rights reserved. http://www.usgwarchives.net/copyright.htm http://www.usgwarchives.net/ga/gafiles.htm ************************************************ File contributed for use in USGenWeb Archives by: Beth Collins http://www.genrecords.net/emailregistry/vols/00011.html#0002523 September 7, 2004, 1:59 pm Written: January 25 1790 Recorded: March 24 1790 Wilkes County Deed Book HH, pages 7-8 This Indenture made this twentyfifth day of January in the year of Our Lord one thousand seven hundred and ninety Between William Leverett and Bridget Leverett his wife of the County of Wilkes in the State of Georgia of the one part and Benjamin Bal. of the County and State aforesaid on the other part Witnesseth that the said William Leverett and Bridget Leverett his wife for and in consideration of the sum of two hundred pounds Sterling the receipt whereof the said William Leverett and Bridgett Leverett his wife both hereby acknowledge hath Bargained sold aliened enfeoffed released and Confirmed and by these presents do grant Bargain Sell Alien enfeoff release and confirm unto the said Benjamin Baldwin his and assigns forever acertain Tract or Parcel of land containing Two hundred acres lying and Being in the County of Wilkes aforesaid on Little river Bounded Southwardly by Little River Westwardly Land of Richard Johnsons Northwardly by Land of said Benjamin Baldwins and eastwardly by Land of Robert Leverett having such shape form and Marks as appears by a plat of the same annexed to a grant to the said William Leverett signed by his honor the Governor in council the twenty eight of July one thousand seven hundred eighty four Together with all and singular the Rights Members and appurtenances thereof Whatsoever to the said tract or parcel of land belonging or in anywise appertaining thereunto and also all the Estate Right Title Interest claim and demand of the said William Leverett and Bridget Leverett his wife of in to or out of the same To Have And To Hold The said Tract or parcel of land and all and Singular the premises aforesaid With their and every of their Rights Members and appurtenances unto the said Benjamin Baldwin his heirs and assigns to his and their own proper use and Behoof forever in Fee Simple In Witness whereof the said William Leverett and Bridget Leverett his wife have hereunto set their hands and Seals the day and year first above written – Signed sealed and delivered Wm Leverett in presence of us her John Holms Junr Bridget B Leverett Benj.
