Witnesseth that the said Hezekiah Lincecum and Sarah, his wife, for and in consideration of the sum of one hundred pounds sterling money to him in hand paid the receipt whereof is hereby acknowledged hath granted bargained conveyed and confirmed unto the said Matthew McCrary his heirs and assigns forever a certain parcel of land containing one hundred and seventy nine acres. Situate lying and being in the County and State aforesaid, date one thousand seven hundred and eighty four it being a part of a tract granted unto the said Hezekiah Lincecum by the State bearing date eighty four as aforesaid & butting and bounding on the North side by Coopers line and Hugins line upon the waters of Long Creek & by Wests line on South Side and on the East by Castleberrys line to have and to hold the said land including the plantation and buildings orchards nurseries and all woods and waters and premises and appurtenances thereunto belonging unto the only proper use and behoof of the said Matthew McCrary and his heirs and assigns forever and the said Hezekiah Lincecum and Sarah his wife for themselves do warrant and forever defend the abovesaid one hundred and seventy nine acres of land against the claim or claims of themselves their heirs or any other person or persons pretending right or title thereunto. In Witness whereof the Hezekiah Lincecum and Sarah his wife have hereunto set their names and affixed their seals the day and year above written.
