Thomas http://www.genrecords.net/emailregistry/vols/00016.html#0003785 August 19, 2008, 7:40 pm Written: March 6, 1818 Recorded: August 19, 1820 Deed Book FFF Pages 203-204 400 Acres Warranty Deed Georgia This Indenture made the sixth day of March one thousand eight hundred & Eighteen Between William Nolan of the County of Wilkes & said state of the one part and James Boatwright & Dudley Stinson of the County and State aforesaid of the other part Witnesseth that the said William Nolan, for & in consideration of the sum of two thousand Dollars to him in hand paid the Receipt whereof is hereby acknowledged have bargained & sold & by these presents, doth grant, bargain & sell unto the said James Boatwright & Dudley Stinson their heirs and assigns, all that tract or parcel of Land situate lying & being in the County & State aforesaid on Morris’s Creek, a branch of Fishing Creek containing four hundred acres more or less, adjoining lands of Robert Ware on the North, John G. Bailey on the West, Thomas Anderson on the South West, John Moss & the Heirs of Raphael Wheeler on the South East,-East, & North East being parts of the three different surveys or tracts or land, originally granted to James Bailey, Jacob McLendon, & Dennis Hensley the said several Conveyances are herewith surrendered to the said James & Dudley, being the same tract that the said William purchased of Garland Lane & James Thurman (sic)reference being had to the said different conveyances will now fully & at large appear, & also the deed made by the Sheriff to Connell & Wife and the deed made on the 4th of this instant by William B Wafford adm’r of James Thurmond dec’d to the said William, which is also herewith surrendered, being the same tract of Land whereon the said William formerly lived including Sawing the Mills thereon Together with all and singular the premises aforesaid with [the appurtenances is struck through] every of its rights, members, & appurtenances thereof. To have & to Hold, the aforesaid described land Land (sic) & premises, with every of its rights, members & appurtenances and the said William Nolan his heirs & assigns the said tract of Land will well & truly Warrant and forever defend against him & his heirs & against all person or persons whatsoever to them the said James Boatwright & Dudley Stinson & their heirs and assigns forever to them, & their only proper use, benefit & behoof.
