Deed of Gift bet Garrett Oglesby & Martha Oglesby 14 Jul 1843 Wilkes Co, GA

WILKES COUNTY, GEORGIA, DEED BOOK PPP, p. 270

Know all men by these presents that I, Garrett Oglesby, of said County
and State, for and in consideration of the natural love and affection
which I have and bear to my daughter, Martha E. Oglesby, do hereby, by
these presents, give and grant unto my said daughter, Martha E.
Oglesby, a negro woman by the name of Orpha and her child, Florence,
and their future increase.

To have the said negroes, Orpha and Florence and their increase, to her
the said Martha E. Oglesby, her heirs and assigns forever.

In testimony whereof I have hereunto set my hand and seal this 14th day
of July, 1843.
