Witnesseth that the sd. John Ogletree and Piety Ogletree for and consideration of the sum of one hundred and thirty dollars to them in hand paid the receipt whereof they the sd. John Ogletree & Piety Ogletree his wife doth hereby acknowledge hath bargained and sould & by these presents doth make over & confirm unto the sd. Edward Woodham one hundard acres of land lying in Greene County on the waters of Richland Creek with all the improvements & priviledges thereunto belonging being part of a tract of land granted unto Joel Terrell bounded as follows Viz. beginning at a red oak running N 10 W 28 chains to a red oak thence S 80 W 36 chains to a stake corner thence S 10 E 28 Ch. to a post oak corner thence running with the Bruderes line to the beginning & the sd. John Ogletree & Piety Ogletree his wife doth oblige ourselves & our heirs to warrentt & forever defend the sd. land unto the aforesaid Edward Woodham his heirs and assigns against all claims or incumtrances whatsoever. In witness whereof we have hereunto set our hands & seals the day & date above written. Signd and seald & delivered in the presents of John Ogling(?)
