6, 1863. The 37th Regiment Ga. Infantry was formed partly by 
consolidation of the 3d and 9th Battalions of Georgia Infantry May 6, 1863. The 
9th Battalion Georgia Infantry was also known as the 17th Battalion Ga.

Anderson, Zedekiah W.- See private Co. D, 9th Battn. Ga.

Arnett, Demetrious - private April 27, 1864. Surrendered at
Greensboro, N. C. April 26, 1865. 

Bell, Bartholomew - private April 1, 1863. Wounded at 
Missionary Ridge, Tenn. November 25, 1863. Roll for April 1, 1864,
last on file, shows him present. No later record.

April 1, 1864, last on file, shows him present. No later record.

Flynt, W. J.- private August 1, 1863. Roll for April 1, 1864,
last on file, shows him present. No later record.

Hampton, B. B.- private September 1, 1863. Died in Flewellen
Hospital at Barnesville, Ga. July 14, 1864.

Higginbotham, John - private. December 1863. Killed at Franklin,
Tenn. November 30, 1864.

Lindsey, George W.- private March 15, 1864. Admitted to
Stonewall Hospital at Montgomery, Ala. October 31, 1864. Roll
of this hospital for November 15, 1864, shows him a patient. No
later record. (Born in Wilkes County, Ga. June 4, 1848, and
died in that county July 10, 1931.)

McCorkle, John - private August  10, 1863. Captured near
Nashville, Tenn. December 16, 1864. Died of pneumonia at Camp
Douglas, Ill. February 6, 1865. Buried there in Confederate 
Cemetery.

Moss, James Robert - private December 1863. Wounded at 
Franklin, Tenn. November 30, 1864. Surrendered at Greensboro, N. C.
April 26, 1865.

Poss, H. T., Jr.- private September 1, 1863. Surrendered at 
Greensboro, N. C. April 26, 1865.

Poss, H. T. Sr.- private December 18, 1863. Surrendered at 
Greensboro, N. C. April 26, 1865.

Rorie, William Andrew - private October 15, 1863. Roll for April 
1, 1864, last on file, shows him present. No later record.

Waters, Bolden D. (Boling D.) - private. Wounded in left
leg and thigh at Franklin, Tenn. November 30, 1864, and captured
there December 17, 1864. Sent from Louisville, Ky. to Camp Chase,
O. April 4, 1865, and admitted to U. S. A. Post Hospital there,
account of wounds, July 11, 1865. Released at Camp Chase, O. 
August 16, 1865. (Born in Ga. September 24, 1848.) 

Wheatley, John - private September 10, 1864. Surrendered at
Greensboro, N. C. April 26, 1865. 

Wheeless, J. L.- private July 1864. Paroled at Augusta, Ga.
in 1866.

Willson, William - private September 10, 1864. Surrendered at
Greensboro, N. C. April 26, 1865. 

Wynne, George F.- private February 4, 1864. Admitted to St.
Mary's Hospital at West Point, Miss. with diarrhea January 18,
1865. In hospital April 1865. (George Judson Wynne was
correct name. It was entered wrong during war and Mr.
Wynne did not correct it.)
