FATHER AND SON ITEM FOR TODAY
Rayle, Ga. - Between them, Webster S. Sherrer, Wilkes county
farmer and his father have lived through most of the history of
the United States.
Sherrer, now 79, was born when his father, Thomas Sherrer, was
81. The father was born in 1779 and lived to be 94.
The son, still hale and hearty, says he expects to live at least to
the average age of members of his family which is about 90 years.
