Bob Anderson officiating. He died Friday, October 6, in an Augusta hospital. A native of Wilkes County, Mr. Colley was the son of the late Carroll D. Colley and the late Maida Wootten Colley. He was a member of the Presbyterian Church and was a member of the SAF fraternity and the Kiwanis Club. He was a graduate of Duke University where he taught. A veteran of World War II, he was a German Prisoner of War for four years. He was historian for the Defense Department of the Pentagon and was associated with the Heart Association and the Emory Foundation. He was a retired public relations executive. Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Louise T. Colley of Washington; one daughter Mary Wilson Huff of Atlanta; and one son, Woods Wilson Huff of Campbell, [Santa Clara County] California. Hopkins Funeral Home was in charge of the arrangements. Additional Comments: The wife is the former Louise Talley Huff (1917-1986) and is ther of Mary Wilson Huff and Woods Wilson Huff. Frank and Louise had no children together.
