Pat Griffin officiating. She died Tuesday morning, May 16, at Wills Memorial Hospital. A native of Wilkes County, Miss Colley was the daughter of the late Frank Harris and Kate Toombs Colley of Wilkes County. She taught for a number of years at the Washington Seminary in Atlanta and for many years was beloved librarian at the Mary Willis Library. She was a member of the Presbyterian Church. Survivors include a sister, Mrs. Marion Colley Boyd of Washington; a nephew, Frank Colley; and two nieces, Mrs. Paul Goldsmith and Mrs. Jack Reiber. Pallbearers included Alexander Wright, Eddie Anderson, Edward Pope, Robert Darby, Wilbur Orr and Frank Thomas, Jr. Honorary pallbearers included John Goolsby, Hal Shank, John Allen, Jack Wynne, Robert Wallace, George Normandy, Charlie Granade, Turner Bryson, Bill Bennett, Osborne Bounds, Osborne Bounds, Jr., and William Johnson.
