Robert Lee Geter, 60, of Tignall, died Thursday, October 28, 2004, at Wills 
Memorial Hospital, Washington.

A native of Hart County, he was the son of the late Henry and Nina Lee Rucker 
Geter.

Survivors include his very special friend, Betty Walton, Tignall; sons, Alan 
Johnson, James Robert Geter and Jeremy Geter, all of Gainesville; daughters and 
sons-in-law, Amy and Robby Bailey, Winder, Paula and Lee Tate, Gainesville, 
Mary and Mitchell Law, Commerce, and Laverne Graham, Gainesville; brother, John 
Geter, Hartwell; sisters, Gail Geter, Iva, S.C., Dorothy Parris, Ocala, Fla., 
and Margaret Dade of Alexandria, Va.; 13 grandchildren; two great-grandchildren.

Funeral services were held Monday, November 1, at St. John C.M.E. Church, 
Hartwell, with the Rev. B.H. Bailey officiating. Burial was in the church 
cemetery.

Mack’s Funeral Home, Hartwell, was in charge of arrangements.
