STROZIER OF MILLEN PASSES AT HOSPITAL HERE Charles Randall Strozier, 59-year old resident of Millen, GA., died this morning at 1:25 o'clock at a local infirmary after an illness of three years. Funeral services will be hld tomorrow morning at 11 o'clock at the graveside in the Swainsboro cemetery. Mr. Randall (sic), a native of Wilkes county, was a retired superintendent of the Pierpont (sic) Manufacturing company of Savannah. He was a member of the Methodist church. He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Shellie Kea Strozier; four sons, Randall K. Strozier, Augusta; John M. Strozier, Estill, S. C.; Clifford Strozier, Martinsville, Va.; and Billy Strozier of Savannah; one daughter, Miss Georgia Elizabeth Strozier, Millen; four brothers Henry Strozier, Birmingham, Ala.; Lush Strozier and Jack Strozier of Little Rock, Ark.; Willie Strozier, Rayle, Ga.; and one sister, Miss May Strozier of Atlanta. STROZIER, RESIDENT OF MILLEN Last rites for Charles Randall Strozier, retired mill superintendent, were held yesterday afternoon at the graveside in the Swainsboro cemetery, with the Rev. W. E. Scott officiating. Mr. Strozier was a resident of Millen and had retired as superintendent of the PiedmontManufacturing company of Savannah. Pallbearers were Warren Kea, Carter Kea, Robert Gunn, John Gunn, Ben Pierce Jr., and Stewart McArthur. He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Shellie Kea Strozier; four sons, Randell (sic) K. Strozier, Augusta, John M. Strozier, Estill, S. C., Clifford Strozier, Martinsville, Va., and Billy Strozier, Savannah; one daughter, Miss Georgia Elizabeth Strozier, Millen; four brothers, Henry Strozier, Birmingham, Ala., Lush Strozier and Jack Strozier, both of Little Rock, Ark., and Willie Strozier, Rayle, Ga.; one sister, Miss Mary Strozier, Atlanta, and a grandson, Randell (sic) K. Strozier Jr., Augusta. Additional Comments: Notice in Sunday's paper, DOD was listed as the 27th, in Monday's paper DOD was 28th. "Hospital here" would mean an Augusta hospital. Platt's Funeral Home is also in Augusta. Descendant of Revolutionary War Soldier Peter STROZIER, who fought at the Battle of Kettle Creek in Wilkes Co, and his wife Margaret Dozier.
