Wilkes
County.
To any Judge of the Superior Court, Justice of the Inferior Court, Justice of 
the Peace, or Minister of the Gospel.
You are hereby authorized to join in the Holy state of Matrimony
Ellison Groce & Jane Stinson
and for your so doing this shall be your sufficient License.
Given under my hand this 4th [or could be 7th] day of March 1821

I do hereby certify, that in obedience to the above Marriage License, I have 
joined in the holy state of matrimony Ellison Groce & Jane Stinson
