DEEDS HHH. Page 395.  DEED OF GIFT


Joseph Burks of Wilkes County, GA. to his grandson Wm. Gibson Barton, 
granddaughters Caroline, Eliza Ann, Matilda and Clary Fortune Barton, 
the children of his son-in-law Larkin Barton who married his daughter.  
Lucy Burks was Lucy Barton, all of Wilkes County, GA – and in 
consideration of moving thereto, I give and bequeath equal shares of 
Negro girls Matilda and Milly and much household property (mentioned).  
I appoint my son John Burks Trustee.
