This file was contributed by: Barbara Walker Winge Barbarawinge@yahoo.com ==================================================================== In the name of God Amen I Harris Coleman of the County of Wilkes and State of Georgia Being Sick and weak in body But of my right mind and memory Do make this my last Will and Testament In form and manner follwoing (VIZ) I give & bequeath to my beloved Wife Franky Coleman the Land and Plantation where I now live with all my Stock of Horses but one my Stock of Cattle Hogs and Sheep Also the present crop that is now growing with all the plantation intensels also one Still and the present Crop of Brandy with every thing else that I now own or possess- Item 2nd I also give to my Wife Eight negroes named as following Pernek Molt Hannah Charles Judy Duke Mary & Eady with all their Increase Also all the out standing debts that is owing to me Item 3rd I give to David Young One Horse saddle and Bridle to be valued at One hundred and twenty five Dollars when the said Young becomes of Age abd two years schooling between this time and that of his being twenty one years old Horse and school to be made up out of my estate in the way that my Executor may think best- Item 4th And last of all I do hereby appoint my Brother John Coleman and Thomas Wooten of Wilkes County my two whole and sole executors of this my last Will and Testament disannulling all wills that have heretofore Been made by me- In witness whereof I have hereunto set my hand and affixed my Seal this Thirty first day of August 1816 Signed and Delivered Harris Coleman (Seal) In the presents of Jno Pope Elijah Eckles Jane (Her X Mark) Eckles Georgia ) Wilkes County ) Personally appeared in open Court Elijah Eckles and Jane Eckles two of the subscribing witnesses to the written will and being duly sworn deponth and Saith that they saw the within named Harris Coleman sign Seal publish and declare the written instrument of writing to be his last Will and testament and at the time of his do doing he was of sound and disposing mind and memory and that they signed their names as Witnesses to the same in the presence of and at the request of the testator and that W. H.
