Will of Michael Hindsman 28 Dec 28 1826 Wilkes County, GA In the name of God Amen. I Michael Hindsman of the State of Georgia and County of Wilkes being in low state of health but of perfect mind and memory calling to mind that it appointed to all Men to die do make and ordain this my last will and Testament in manner and form as follows, First recommend my Soul to God Almighty and my body to earth to be buried in Christian manner at the discretion of my Executors and as to such worldly things as God hath been pleased to Bless me with I give and despose of in the following manner viz. First I give to My Son Israil Hindsman my land on which I live on Kettle Creek Containing three Hundred and fifty acres (?) the Same more or less. I give to my Grand Son in Law John Welch one Tract of land in the Second district of Early County No One hundred and forty nine containing two hundred and fifty Acres. I give and bequeath to my Son in Law Robert Mclean one Dollar. I give to my Grandson in Law, John, Peter, Israil, William Elisha and Michael Hindsman the Lot No. four hundred and sixty in the 3rd District Apling County Also I appoint my Grandsons John & Peter Hindsman Executors to this my last Will and Testament. Also by their Presents do renounce and Revoke all and every will or wills by me heretofore made and Ordain and Establish this my last Will & Testament Given and acknowledged from under my Hand this twenty eighth day of December in the year of our lord One Thousand eight hundred and twenty Six.
