To wife Mary McAlpin, who lives on the place, one third of my movable estate. To my Stepdau. Ann Hagard, and stepson, Jonathan Hagard, gifts. To my eldest son, Robert McAlpin, my bounty land warrant, 575 acres, except the money I received from him which is six crowns, three dollars, and four guineas. To son, Solomon McAlpin 200 acres on the Old Tugolo path. To son, Alexander, lands. To my three little sons, 200 acres on Savannah River at Cherokee Ford and 200 acres in South Fork of Broad River, the lower part of which I give to Alexander McAlpin, I desire to be divided among Samuel Major Temple McAlpin, William Alexander McAlpin, and William David McAlpin. To my four daus. Jenet McAlpin, Elizabeth Barberry McAlpin, Mary, and Sarah Temple McAlpin. My six youngest children to be schooled in English and Arithmetic. Exrs.
