Turner Georgia Wilkes County In the name of God Amen, I William H. Turner of Wilkes County and State of Georgia, Being of sound and disposing mind and memory and knowing the certainty of death and the uncertainty of life, and being desirous of disposing of the worldly goods that God has blessed me with do make this my last Will and Testament hereby revoking any and all other wills made by me. Item 1 I commend my immortal being to him who gave it and my body to the earth to be buried with little expense or ostentation by my executors herein after named. And all worldly estate, all the property real and personal or mixed to which I shall be entitled at the time of my decease I direct bequeath and devise in the fore coming manner to wit. Item 2 I will and bequeath to my son Gideon A. Turner all that lot of land in said County and State known as lot NO 3 and containing 63 and 1/5 acres and adjoining lands of Willis bunch and J. N. Wolf and since I am willing and do now give the possession of said lot of land to my said son, G. A. Turner I require that he shall pay me Twelve dollars for the year 1899 and Twelve dollars for year 1900 and Twenty five dollars each year during my life and at my death said lot of land shall be to my said son in fee simple. Item 3 I will and bequeath to my son W. O. Turner that lot of land in said County and State known as No 4 and containing 65 and 1/2 acres and adjoins lands of Willis Bunch, Guin and Lots 2 and 3 and sons. I give my said son possession now require that the said W. O. Turner shall pay me twelve dollars for the year 1899 and twelve dollars for the year 1900 and Twenty five dollars each year thereafter during my life and at my death said lot of land shall belong to my son W. O. Turner in fee simple. Item 4 I will and bequeath to my son Henry J. Turner all that Lot of land in said county and State known as Lot no 6 and containing 71 and 8/10 acres adjoining Danner, Thornton, William and J. House and Lot No 5 and since I give my said son possession now I require thirteen and 25/100 Dollars for the years 1899 and 1900 and Twenty five dollars each year after 1900 during my life and at ny death said Lot of land to be the property of my said son in fee simple. Item 5 I will and bequeath to my daughter Debbie E. Powell all that a lot of land in said County and State known as Lot No. 1 and containing 63 and 8/10 acres and adjoining lands of DS Standard, J. M. Wolf, and No. 2 and since I give my said daughter possession of said lot of land now I require that she pay me 31 and 25/100 dollars for the year 1899 and for the year 1900 and that after 1900 $25 each year during my life and at my death the said lot of land to be the property of my said daughter in the simple. Item 6 I will and bequeath to my daughter Ludie C. Butler all that Lot of land in said County and State known as Lot No 2 and containing 64 1/8 acres and adjoining lands of J. N. Wolf and lots No. 3 and 4 and others and since I give my said daughter possession of said lot of land now, I require that she pay me 31 and 25 /100 dollars for each of the years 1899 in 1900 and that after 1900 she pay me $25 each year during my life and at my death said lot of land to be the property of my said daughter Ludie C. Butler in fee simple. Item 7 I will and bequeath to my son Thomas R. Turner all that lot of land in said County and state all that a lot of land known as Lot No. 5 and containing sixty-nine and 8/10 acres and I join the lands of Danner, Guin, Standard, Booker and House and Lot No. 6 and sense I get my said son positioned now, I require that he paid me 31 and 25/100 dollars for each of the years 1899 and 1900 and after 1900 $25 each and every year during my life and after my death the said lot of land to be the property of my son Thomas R. Turner in fee simple. Item 8 I will and bequeath that my beloved wife Elizabeth Turner have all the ot of land containing 37 ˝ acres and adjoining lands of Booker, Standard, Guin, and others to her own use and in fee simple. I appoint my son, G. A. Turner and my son-in-law J. T. Powell executors of this my last will and testament. In witness whereof I signed and seal and published and declare this intent as my last will and testament April 22, 1898 William H. Turner (legal signature) The said William H. Turner on the 15th day of March 1898 signed and sealed this instrument and published an declared the same as his last will and we signing in his presence and he in our presence and in the presence of each other. J.B. Bunch R. T. Guin E. L. Beard J. P. Codicil to Will of William H. Turner Codicil to the last will and testament. I William H. Turner being now of sound mind and memory and whereas I William H. Turner of Wilkes County state of Georgia have by my last will and testament in writing duly executed bearing date April 22, 1898 giving in bequeathing to my son W. O. Turner a lot of land described an item 3 now I the said William H. Turner being desirous of altering my said will in respect to the said legacy item 3 To my said son William O. Turner, ???, therefore make this present waiting which I will and desire to be annexed as a codicil to my will and taken as part thereof and I hereby revoke my said Legacy to my said will given to W. O. Turner, and I do will and bequeath to Nancy V. Turner and children of W. O. Turner all of that lot or tract of land described in item three of Maas said will ????? the conditions there and described and I do ??? and confirm us said we’ll get everything except where the same is hereby revoked and altered as aforesaid. In witness whereof I William H. Turner have hereunto set my hand and affixed my seal this 7th day of July ??? William H.
