Turner Will of Luke Turner of Wilkes county GA Georgia Wilkes County I Luke Turner of said State and County, being of sound disposing mind and memory do declare this to be my last Will and Testament hereby revoking all other Wills by me heretofore made. Item 1st I will and desire that all my just debts be paid. Item 2nd I will and bequeath to my grandson Luke M. Turner a Negro girl named Jane about 4 years old to be kept by my son William G. Turner in his possession till my said grandson arrives to years of maturity. Item 3rd I will and bequeath to my son Luke Turner a Negro girl named Cornelia which Negro girl I desire shall wait upon Mrs Mary W. Gresham and Miss Maria Wright as long as they or either of may need her and then to belong absolutely to my son Luke. Item 4th I will and bequeath that my daughter Mary E. J. Favor and my son Luke shall be first made equal with my son William G. Turner then the tract of land wherein I now reside to be divided between my three children as follows to wit my son Luke Turner to have all that part of said land lying north of a line beginning at the creek at or near Henry Norman's line and running west course along the fence that divides the old school house field and the barn field to the Danielsville Road thence down said road south to a little lane bending to the Rae's meeting house thence to the right of said church strait(sic) to the line of W. G. Turner. My son Wm G. Turner to have that part of said land lying west of a line beginning on the line near the Rock Church to be run off to my son Luke and running south along the fence of the Gin house field and crossing the Lexington Road to the red oak corner of J. D. Willis's line said line to be so sure as to arrive at said red oak corner by varying the corner if necessary and that part of said red oak corner to the Powelton road at or near the bars leading into the new ground field lying on the right hand side of said Powelton Road and my daughter may to have all the rest of my said land embracing the Pullm(sic) tract after the said division of my land and my said daughter Mary and my son Luke have been made just equal with what my son William has received. I will and desire that all the balance of my property of all kinds be equally divided between my said three children my dau to have choice in Negroes at valuation and also of the carriage in the same way if she wants it. Item 5th It is my will and desire that said division of land and other property shall take place between my children without any sale and I hereby appoint my three children Wm G. Turner, Luke Turner and Mary E. J. Favor Executors and Executrix of this my last Will and Testament and I also will that they shall not be required to make returns to the ordinary but shall divide the property as above described among themselves with the special request that my friends James D. Willis and T. T. Irvin aid my children in their division if necessary. Willis two of the subscribing witnesses to the within Will and after being duly sworn deposit and say that they saw Luke Turner sign and seal the same which he acknowledge as his Last Will and Testament and at the time of his so doing he was of disposing mind and memory that they signed the same in his presence at his request and in the presence of each other together with John P.
