Military Records
Drew E. Williams enlisted as a Private 14th Georgia Volunteer Infantry Co.B.
He surrendered at Appomattox 9 April 1865. This company was from Wilkinson Co.,
Ga. and was known as the "Ramah Guards". The company was attached to the Army
of Northern Virginia and served in many battles includomg Chancellorsville,
Gettysburg, and 2nd Manassa, and the Wilderness.
