George Dennard

GORDON-- Services for George Royce Dennard will be at 2 p.m. today in the 
Gordon United Methodist Church with burial in Ramah Cemetery.  Dennard, 60, 
died Wednesday, December 29, 1999.  Born in Wilkinson County, he was a 
lifelong resident and a member of the Gordon United Methodist Church.  He 
served in the U.S. Air Force and was retired from Georgia Kraft where he was a 
millwright.

Survivors include his wife, Linda S. Dennard; children, Dena D. Browning of 
Macon and Donna Williams of Milledgeville; sisters and brother, Constance 
Weaver, Dorothy McCook, and Floy Baggarly, all of Gordon, stepbrother and 
sister, Kenneth O'Kelly of Kingston, Tenn., and Gloria Tucker of Macon; and 
three grandchildren.

The family requests in lieu of flowers, contributions be made to the Gordon 
United Methodist Church or the American Lung Association.  Gordon Memorial 
Funeral Home has charge of arrangements.

(Note: George Royce Dennard was the youngest of 14 children born to William 
Chandler Dennard and Alice Johnson Dennard.  He was born January 6, 1939 in 
Wilkinson County, GA and died December 29, 1999 at the Coliseum Medical Center 
in Macon (Bibb County), GA.  Rev. Tom McCook and Rev. Hugh Shirah officiated 
the funeral service and burial.)
