The Revs. Justus Garrett and Billy Ball will officiate and burial will be in Dublin Memorial Gardens. A lifelong resident of Wilkinson County, Mr. Dominy was the son of the late Hardy Ivey Dominy and the late Lucy Howell Dominy and the widower of Janelle Giddens Dominy. He was a member of Big Sandy Baptist Church, a farmer, a retired rural mail carrier, and a retired retail merchant. He was a US Navy veteran of World War II. Mr. Dominy died Tuesday in a Dublin hospital. Survivors are a son and daughter-in-law, Jeffery and Fran Dominy of Irwinton; a daughter and son-in-law, Susan and Mike Cunio of Irwinton; grandchildren, David Cunio, Jamie Cunio, Brooke Cunio, and Brittany Cunio, all of Irwinton; four sisters, Gladys Ward of Macon, Mary Ivey Thompson, Lucy Edda Mills, and Betty Rose Criswell, all of Toomsboro; two brothers, C. Edward Dominy of Toomsboro and Sam Dominy of Columbia, SC; and several nieces and nephews. Pallbearers will be Danny Harden, Tommy Bradley, George Brack, David Cunio, A. J. Dixon, and Brian Bazemore. The family will receive friends at Townsend Brothers Funeral Home tonight from 6:30 to 8:30. Additional Comments: Morgan was born 6 Dec 1927. Georgia death certificate #044337.
