(Jim) Carroll williamcarrollj@bellsouth.net January 22, 2011, 7:49 am The Macon Telegraph 12-5-1977 Page 12B Mrs. Sadie Lamb Mrs. Sadie Wright Lamb, 78, of Route 14, Box 601, died Saturday in a local hospital after a brief illness. Services will be held at 2pm Tuesday in the chapel of Hart's Mortuary. Burial will be in Cool Springs Primitive Baptist Church Cemetery in Danville. Mrs. Lamb, a native of Wilkinson County, had lived in Macon most of her life and was retired from the Medical Center of Central Georgia. She was a member of Immanuel Baptist Church. Survivors include a daughter, Mrs. Mary Floyd of Macon; a son, Robert C. Lamb of Drexel Hill, Pa.; two brothers, J. C. Wright of Milledgeville and James O. Wright of Toomsboro; nine grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. Additional Comments: Sadie was born 23 Mar 1899 to James Giles Wright and Josephine "Josie" Horne Wright. Georgia death certificate #03758. Her husband was Marion Foster Lamb who is also buried in Cool Springs Primitive Baptist Church Cemetery.
