 M. E. H. Lee was born 3-27-1875 and died 3-5-1942 and is buried in the Danville
City Cemetery

M.E.H. Lee

Services were conducted for Marshall E.H. Lee, 67, on Saturday in the Baptist
church. Mr. Lee died at a Dublin hospital last Thursday following a three weeks'
illness.

Born and reared in Twiggs county, the son of W.H. and Mrs. Sara H. Lee, Mr. Lee
was a contractor and farmer, but retired from business several years ago due to
failing health.  His wife died three years ago.

Surviving are a son, Hershel Lee, and a daughter, Mrs. Lois L. Gibbs of Gordon;
three grandchildren and two great granchildren;  his stepmother, Mrs. Sara W.
Lee; five sisters, Mrs. Naomi Williams, Mrs. Dora Davidson and Mrs. Clara asbell
of Twiggs County; Mrs. Mary Davidson of Albany; and Mrs. Leonora Davidson of
Macon; and five brothers, W.H. Lee of Irwinton; Frank Lee of North Carolina;
J.L. Terrell and Jim Lee of Twiggs County.
