Sapp, 90, died Saturday, October 4, 1997, in a local hospital. Born in Wilkinson County, she had lived in Baldwin County for many years. She was retired from the Civil Service at Robins Air Force Base. She was a member of the Order of the Eastern Star and Hardwick Christian Church. Survivors include her daughter, Jackie Knowles of Milledgeville; three grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren. The family will receive friends from 7 to 9 tonight at the funreal home. Memorial may be made to Hardwick Christian Church. (Side Note: Ethel Mae Johnson was the daughter of Luther Sidney Johnson and Vilena Matilda Sanders. She was born March 4, 1907. She married William Leonard Sapp on December 25, 1929.)
