Ethel Sapp

Milledgevile-- Services for Ethel Johnson Sapp will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday in 
Moores Funreal Home with burial in White Springs Baptist Church Cemetery, 
Gordon, RFD.  Sapp, 90, died Saturday, October 4, 1997, in a local hospital.  
Born in Wilkinson County, she had lived in Baldwin County for many years.  She 
was retired from the Civil Service at Robins Air Force Base.  She was a member 
of the Order of the Eastern Star and Hardwick Christian Church.

Survivors include her daughter, Jackie Knowles of Milledgeville; three 
grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren.

The family will receive friends from 7 to 9 tonight at the funreal home.  
Memorial may be made to Hardwick Christian Church.

(Side Note: Ethel Mae Johnson was the daughter of Luther Sidney Johnson and 
Vilena Matilda Sanders.  She was born March 4, 1907.  She married William 
Leonard Sapp on December 25, 1929.)
