Daughter of J.W. and N.C. Brooks
Born August 24, 1882
Died Feb. 1, 1889

It also has a quote or inscription on the bottom of it but I could not make it 
out.  This headstone as well as the one beside it that belongs to John D. 
Brooks (her brother) were badly covered with some kind of moss or algae.  I 
tried to rub most of it off in order to better read it but it was on there 
thick.
