Wilkinson Co Marriage Book 1865-82 Page 318
State of Georgia, Wilkinson County- To any Justice of the Peace- Minister of 
the Gospel, you are hereby authorized to join Mr Benj C Lewis and Miss Exa E 
Kingery in the Holy State of Matrimony according the constitution and laws of 
the state and for so doing his shall be your sufficient license -- and you are 
hereby required to return this license to one with your certificate hereon of 
the place and date of the marriage. Hereon under my hand and seal this 27th 
day of March 1879
