Oct. 25, 1906 A beautiful home wedding solemnized on Sunday Oct. 21st, was that of Miss Fannie Elizabeth Vaughn to Mr. Edgar Eugene Steed, at the home of the bride’s father at Toomsboro, Ga. The bride’s maids, Miss Sarah Cason, of Toomsboro, and Miss Augusta Steed, of Atlanta, wore lovely gowns of gray cloth over taffeta. The bride’s sister, Miss Nettie Vaughn, who was maid of honor, wore a lovely creation of gray. Also, Mr. Bell, of Gordon, was best man, and the groomsmen were Mr. Edwin Baner and Mr. Warren Brunner, of Toomsboro. The bride wore a lovely gown of changeable louicine over taffeta and carried a beautiful bouquet of bride’s roses tied with an abundance of maline. She is an attractive young woman of many lovely traits and numbers her friends by the score, while Mr. Steed is a young businessman of many sterling qualities and is prominently connected. They received scores of presents, most noted were the silverware. They were tendered a beautiful reception here, and are at home to their many friends at 642 Chestnut Street, Atlanta, Ga. E.E.
